This is Yamane (11) and Mitsuki (8). I started teaching them English in their home in January. I also teach their older college-age sisters. I love going to their house. We study English together for two hours. After that, I sit in the living room with the whole family (grandma, grandpa, mothers, aunts, sometimes father) and they serve me tea and fruit and cake and chocolate before they take me home. Then they all gather around the door and wave goodbye to me as I leave. It is a great everday-in-Japan experience to have.
